Hiring: Engineering Manager – Full‑Stack TypeScript & Mobile

Location: London (Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite)
Salary: Up to £100k + up to 30% bonus + generous pension

We are supporting a major UK financial services organisation as they expand their digital engineering function. This team builds customer-facing mobile and web experiences used at national scale, and they are now hiring an Engineering Manager to help shape the next generation of these platforms.

The Opportunity

This role is split 75% leadership and 25% hands-on engineering, ideal for someone who enjoys coaching teams while still contributing technically. You’ll be responsible for raising engineering standards, influencing architectural decisions, and supporting the delivery of high‑quality digital banking journeys.

Technical Requirements

• Full‑stack TypeScript (backend plus strong React capability)
• Mobile application development using React Native or native iOS/Android
• Microservices and REST API development
• Clean Code / Clean Architecture
• TDD, CI/CD
• Bonus: AWS, Docker, GraphQL
