Our Commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion:
Diversity
We are committed to building a diverse talent pool. We actively seek to recruit from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to ensure that we reflect the varied needs and perspectives of the organisations we partner with whilst meeting their required needs.
Equality
We provide equal opportunities to all candidates and clients regardless of race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. Our recruitment process is designed to ensure fairness, ensuring that each individual is assessed based on their skills, experience, and potential.
Inclusion
We work to ensure that all individuals feel welcomed, respected, and supported, both within our business and across our clients' teams. We recognise that diversity is not just about representation—it’s about creating an environment where everyone’s voice is heard, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Xpertise’ approach to building diverse candidate pools is multifaceted.
- Firstly, we review inclusive websites such as Evenbreak, myGwork, WORK180 and Investing in Women regularly to ensure we are up to date with what we can utilise when working on projects with clients.
- Secondly, we put an emphasis on ensuring our own Database is clean and up to date with as much information as legally possible that enables us to drill down our searches for diverse candidates more easily. We also proactively build diverse candidate pools through the use of Hotlists and Skilling up our candidates.
- Thirdly, we work hard to ensure that there is no unconscious bias when writing job adverts, which results in a greater inbound pool of diverse candidates. We use a gender de-coder to ensure we are using inclusive language-adverts and are able to use tools via LinkedIn Professional that can help us with this.
